I panicked! Where in the world did my pics of my granddaughter's graduation go??

Last month, our daughter asked if she could get some copies of pictures we had taken of her graduation this summer. Naturally, I said, 'sure'! That's when I realized that I COULDN'T send her the pictures because I COULDN'T FIND them! Not only was I worried about losing these precious memories, but I would also have to break the news to my daughter that we lost them.

I KNOW I saved them off somewhere. I just was looking at them recently. Did my PC crash? Did a bug move/delete them? I'm not super tech savvy so I was not sure what happened.

My sadness turned to fustration as I though to myself, "What was the purpose of taking each one of those photographs when I can't find the one I need!" I was burrowing through a huge number of photographs, (many copies or the same ones) and but I couldn't locate the ones I was searching for!

I finally mustered the courage to tell my daughter that we had lost the pictures. She wasn't convinced that they were really lost and that maybe I could find them with one of those 'USB memory sticks' (as she put it).
